Help Us Keep Kansas City Warm This Winter
It’ll be awhile before the temperatures start to drop, but when they do, too many Kansas Citians don’t have the essentials needed to stay warm. With that in mind, we are proud to host a coat drive in support of the Metro Lutheran Ministry (MLM) Christmas Store, and we’d love your help!
About the MLM Christmas Store
Now in its 54th year, the MLM Christmas Store is one of the largest gift-giving programs in the Greater Kansas City area. From December 10–12, 2025, more than 1,000 families will experience a joyful and dignified holiday shopping event at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Each family member who visits the store will receive:
- A coat, hat, gloves, and two pieces of clothing
- A gift
And each household will take home:
- A blanket or quilt
- A Bible or devotional
- Cookies or healthy snacks
Your coat donations will directly support this effort.
How You Can Help
We are collecting new or gently used coats for all ages, along with hats, gloves, and other winter wear.
