Did you know, hygiene products like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and laundry detergent are not covered by any kind of government assistance programs? Many people in Kansas City struggle each day to get access to basic daily items like these, and that’s where Giving the Basics comes in. We’re proud to be a part of providing for these needs by continuing to partner with Giving the Basics by holding a Dignity Drive in September 2023.

About Giving the Basics
Giving the Basics is a hygiene hub that provides basic hygiene and cleaning products to registered and approved locations. Giving the Basics efficiently tracks the need for our products and distributes them to more than 76 pantry locations and 350 schools, making the basics accessible to 250,000 people monthly.
Their products immediately impact low-income families with small children, students, battered women, veterans, seniors, former prisoners and the mentally ill. Their products help children attend school feeling fresh so they feel comfortable in the learning environment and they assure adults have the dignity they need so they can gain employment.
