You know us: we love giving back to our community. This February, we’re teaming up with Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Greater Kansas City for their annual “Stock the Pantry” drive!
JFS serves more than 800 families each month, providing essential food and support to individuals of all faiths, ages, and backgrounds who are facing hardship. One in four of those they serve is a child under the age of 18. Food insecurity is a growing concern in our community, and we’re proud to be part of the effort to help local families.
How You Can Help
We’re collecting donations of peanut butter, nut butter, jelly, Nutella, honey, and other non-perishable food items throughout February. Help us “Spread the Love” by dropping off your donations at Sloop Dental Co. by Friday, February 28. Every jar counts toward JFS’s goal of collecting 2,500 spreadable items to support families in need.
Why It Matters
JFS relies on community support to keep their food pantry stocked. Half of the food they distribute comes from donations, making drives like this crucial to their ability to serve the community. By contributing, you’re helping ensure that children and families have access to nutritious, staple foods.
