As of today, we will no longer be using social media. In January, Meta, who owns Facebook and Instagram, changed its policies on Hateful Conduct and Fact-Checking. We believe this has the potential to spread hate speech and target minority groups, specifically women and the LGBTQ community. We do not want to support a platform that will spread hatred or false information.
Instead of posting on social media, we will use those resources to make a monthly donation to the Associated Press to support independent and fact-based journalism.
We will continue to update our patients with regular emails, and we will update our website often.
