During the month of February we are proud to partner with our friends at Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Greater Kansas City in East Brookside for a food drive!
Food insecurity is a growing problem. The JFS Food Pantry distributes more than 55,000 pounds of food to 900+ families, singles, and older adults each month. This is double the amount they were serving a year ago. They rely on food drives and donations for 50% of the food they distribute. JFS assists people from all walks of life, regardless of religion.
Join us in supporting their mission and providing food to those in our community by donating:
- Peanut butter
- Almond butter
- Other nut butters
- Jam and jelly
- Nutella
Honey- Disinfectant wipes
- Paper towels
- Oatmeal
- Passover items like grape juice, Matzo ball soup mix, and Passover cake mixes
