Ten years ago, Sloop Dental Co. opened its doors in East Brookside with a simple goal: to create a comprehensive family dentistry rooted in kindness, community, and care for the world around us.
What started in a cozy old house on the corner has grown into something bigger than we could have hoped: a place where patients feel at home, neighbors feel connected, and sustainability is part of our daily routine.
From the very beginning, we wanted to do things differently. One way we do that is with our focus on sustainability:
We offer a bamboo toothbrush and biodegradable floss to our patients. Together, we’ve kept more than 13,650 plastic toothbrushes and 267,000 feet of floss out of our waterways and landfills.- Thanks to our 23 solar panels, we’ve been able to power much of our practice with renewable energy, offsetting the equivalent of planting hundreds of trees.

Our 10-year journey wouldn’t be complete without the everyday moments that make this place special. Things like:
